Tickets available for MAC tournament
UB employees interested in following the Bulls to Cleveland on Thursday for their second game in the Mid-American Conference Men’s Basketball Championship can buy their tickets in advance through the UB Athletics Ticket Office.
Tickets, which are $32 each, may be purchased in person at the ticket office in Alumni Arena or by calling the Bulls Hotline at 1-877-UB-THERE. A credit card can be used to reserve seats for each round of the tournament and it will only be charged if UB continues to play.
Tickets must be purchased through the UB ticket office in order to sit in the Bulls’ fan section in Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. Tickets can be picked up at the arena’s Will Call Window at the corner of Huron Road and East Sixth Street.
The fifth-seeded Bulls play fourth-seeded Miami (OH) in the quarterfinals at 9 p.m. on Thursday. The semifinals are scheduled for 9 p.m. on Friday, with the final MAC championship game to be played at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
PSS reschedules ‘Behind the Scenes’ tour
The Professional Staff Senate’s “Behind the Scenes” tour of the School of Dental Medicine originally scheduled for March 25 has been moved up to March 22.
The tour will be held from 3:30-5 p.m. Participants should gather in 101 Squire Hall, South Campus.
The comprehensive tour will cover the dental clinics, labs, instrument dispensaries and central sterilization unit, as well as the dental school’s new “point of care” chair-side computer system.
The tour is limited to 20 persons. To reserve a spot, send an e-mail to pssenate@buffalo.edu.
“Behind the Scenes at UB” offers free tours of units and programs on the North, South and Downtown campuses. Other tours still to come this semester include visits to the UB Anderson Gallery on April 12 and the UB Art Gallery in the Center for the Arts on April 13.

OD&T offers workshop
A workshop designed to help supervisors and team leaders “Coach Employees to Excellence” will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 30 in 142 Crofts Hall, North Campus.
The free class, offered by the Organizational Development & Training unit in University Human Resources, will provide instruction in the basic principles of coaching employees and effectively using a structured coaching model to improve employee performance and potential.
Participants will practice using the model and learn how to develop a concrete plan to coach a specific individual. They also will learn about organizational climate and the impact coaching can have on the climate in their department.
