Kaleida Health has appointed David P. Hughes, professor of emergency medicine, as director of corporate employee health.
Paras Prasad, executive director of the Institute for Lasers, Photonics and Biophotonics and SUNY Distinguished Professor in the departments of Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering and Medicine, has returned from Changchun University of Science and Technology in northern China, where he was awarded an honorary professorship. It was given to Prasad at the inauguration of a new International Joint Center for Nanophotonics and Biophotonics, which has been established as a partnership between Changchun University and UB’s Institute for Lasers, Photonics and Biophotonics.
