The only problem with spring break is that it’s too short to enjoy going far away—time changes would cut into my long-dreamed-of adventure to the islands off the east coast of Africa—big (Madagascar) and small (Seychelles, Reunion, Pemba, Zanzibar, etc.). So, for a “local” adventure, maybe I’d go south to Central or South America. If I only had the 10 days of spring break, sailing in the Caribbean among the Grenadines would be high on my list…of course, one may never return!

Without question, I’d head straight for a cruise to the Galapagos Islands, complete with a guide knowledgeable in the exotic species there. It is a destination that has always captured my imagination!

I would go on a spring break to Hawaii. I love the thought of the warm tropical island, the nice beaches and the relaxing atmosphere. I think it would be fun to also tour some of the different Hawaiian islands.
