Tyler Dupont says:
I live near Elmwood Village and it takes me anywhere from an hour to two hours to get to or from school. I take the city bus to the subway, then the subway to South, and then the Stampede to North.
I usually don't listen to anything. I spend most of my time thinking why the #12 bus route can take up to an hour between buses, and why the subway can have a 20 min wait between trains. Then once I get to South I wonder why the subway wasn't extended to North, and why Buff State students have free NFTA passes and we don't. Then once the Stampede shows up, I wonder why no-one has created a system so the students don't have to push and shove their way on to the bus. Finally when I get to school I wonder why UB calls itself "green" but does very little dissuade people from driving to school.

I moved to Olean a few years ago for family reasons and make the trek every day. On a good day, it's about an hour & 40 minutes. So that means that most days it can take two hours. One way. I listen to lots of audio books - more than once - and lots of music ranging from mild, "new-agey" stuff to Broadway soundtracks to rock to oldies to the occasional really noisy symphonic piece or opera. Sometimes I even sing along, which is probably best left for the winter when my car windows are closed!
