Classes for the fall semester start on Monday. What advice do you have for new UB students?

Go to class. That might seem obvious, but in a large lecture hall your
presence won’t be missed and you’ll be tempted to skip class. But even
with all the online learning tools available, lectures are how your
professors deliver their most important, boiled-down points for you to
remember.

Your time is limited; keep moving on. College years can fly by. Make sure that you experience all that you can along the way.

Welcome all new students to UB. My biggest adivce I could offer new students undergrad or graduate is time management. Do not wait till the night before to do things, as I at times use to. Additionally, if you have questions about an assignment do not ever be afraid to ask because more than likely someone else will have the same question. I always found it helpful to exchange emails or phone numbers with another student in case you miss a class or need help. Lastly enjoy your time at UB and I hope you all succeed within your field.
