EAP workshops to address parental needs
The university’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is offering several programs this fall intended to address the needs and concerns of working parents.
The Working Moms Group will meet the second Thursday of each month, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Student Union, North Campus. Mothers who are employed at UB and may be experiencing difficulty in balancing work and family lives can meet other moms in a similar situation to discuss their successes, issues and concerns.

Working fathers at UB with similar concerns who are interested in participating in a group just for dads, please contact your UB EAP Staff at 645-4461.
Meanwhile, parenting lunch brunches will be held Oct. 12 and Nov. 16 from noon to 2 p.m. in Parker Hall on the South Campus. Each brunch will feature an interactive, group discussion to help UB parents learn effective strategies such as:
