UB’s 2011 Employees Campaign for the Community has raised $539,164.90, or 65 percent of its goal of $825,000.

The amount raised as of Nov. 9 is based on the participation of 23 percent of UB employees who have made a gift online, a response rate of 41 percent.

The campaign, which will run through the end of this month, features a number of incentives. New this year is a prize raffle every two weeks to encourage employee response. Only those individuals who have responded to the campaign are eligible to win; the earlier employees respond, the more chances they have to win.

Prizes still to be awarded include $250 on a UB card (drawing on Nov. 16); and $100 on UB card (Nov. 30).

The campaign runs through the end of the semester. Dennis Black, vice president for university life and services, is campaign chair.
