  • Lunch and basketball game for $5

    UB Athletics is hosting a special holiday event for UB staff members—as well as their family members and friends—on Dec. 22.

    UB staff and their guests can have lunch on the Bulls and watch the women’s basketball team take on Oakland University for only $5 per person.

    Tipoff is at noon in Alumni Arena.

    The $5 covers a game ticket and lunch, featuring a choice of hot dog or soft pretzel, plus a fountain drink, from the concession stand.

    Those attending should RSVP by calling the Athletics Ticket Office at 645-6666.

  • City Mission seeks donations

    The Buffalo City Mission is in urgent need of new or gently used clothing and other sundry items for its clients.

    Click here for a list of needed items.

    Donations will be accepted at 105 HRD Building in front of Crofts Hall until Jan. 20. Those making donations are eligible to enter three basket raffles sponsored by the Division of Athletics, Professional Staff Senate and Wellness and Work/Life Balance.

  • Stress Buster sessions to be held

    The Employee Assistance Program is sponsoring two free sessions to help employees identify and cope with stress.

    Stress Buster session will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 5 in 339 Cary Hall, South Campus, and Jan. 10 in 142 Crofts Hall, North Campus.
