Anne Curtis, Charles and Mary Bauer Professor and chair of the Department of Medicine, is among more than two dozen women who will receive Women of Influence Awards.
The award, sponsored by Business First of Buffalo, Lake Shore Savings Bank and Kaleida Health, recognizes the business acumen and community spirit of Western New York women.
Curtis is one of four honorees in the Corporate Executive category, which recognizes female executives who have made their mark in a large corporate environment.
The awards will be presented at a Sept. 19 luncheon.
Hadar Borden, administrative director of UB’s Undergraduate Academies, and Esther Eagan, associate licensing manager in the Office of Science, Technology Transfer and Economic Outreach, have been named to Business First of Buffalo’s 2012 40 Under 40 class. The 40 individuals—all under the age of 40—are being recognized for their professional success and community involvement at a Nov. 9 luncheon.
