UB Distinguished Professor David A. Kofke, chair of the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, appeared on the summer cover of Chemical Engineering Education, a quarterly publication from the American Society for Engineering Education. The profile was penned by Kofke’s colleagues at UB, Karl R.F. Lund and Jeffrey R. Errington, as well as University of Massachusetts professor David M. Ford.

The Canticum Novum Singers and The New York Virtuoso Singers, choirs founded and directed by Harold Rosenbaum, UB associate professor of music, are celebrating their 40th and 25th anniversaries, respectively, during 2012-13.

Tracy O’Connor, associate professor of medicine, has been appointed to the board of the Center for Hospice & Palliative Care.
