Faculty, staff and students from UB joined thousands of others in a day
of community service Aug. 23. Pitching in as painters and cleaners,
running a carnival and providing services to seniors were just a few of
the ways that UB volunteers made the United Way's third annual Day of
Caring a rousing success.
