Leon Henderson, an educational consultant and retired director of personnel for the Buffalo Public Schools, has been elected president of the UB Alumni Association. Henderson, who received master's and doctoral degrees in education from UB, in 1963 and 1988, respectively, has been an educator for more than 30 years. Others elected as officers for 1995-96 are Jonathan A. Dandes, vice president and general manager of B.R. Guest Ltd., president-elect and Susan J. Grelick, Amherst town clerk, treasurer. Vice presidents are: William E. Cressman, business consultant; Therese Wegler, executive assistant to Assemblyman Robin Schimminger; Jean C. Powers, attorney, Jaeckle, Fleischmann & Mugel; Donald C. Roberts, insurance executive, Potter, Harris & Scherrer; Jay Friedman, manager, FSA/Food and Vending Services at UB. Newly elected directors are Robert M. Barton, principal, Kensington High School; Paul F. Ciminelli, president, Ciminelli Development Co., Inc.; Beverly Foit-Albert, partner, Foit-Albert Associates; U.S. Magistrate Judge Leslie G. Foschio; Diane J. McMahon, executive vice president, Stovroff & Herman. Returning as directors are Nicholas J. Boccolucci, managing director, Right Associates in Williamsville, and Conway Porter III, certified public accountant.
