Walter Simpson, energy officer at UB, received the ninth annual Rex Dillow Award for the outstanding article in Facilities Manager magazine. The award was presented at the 1995 Educational Conference of The Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers (APPA) held in Philadelphia in July. Facilities Manager is published quarterly by APPA. Simpson's article, "Recharging Campus Energy Conservation: ESCOs and Demand Side Management at SUNY Buffalo," was selected for its content, readability, and interest to readers.
