"Magnificent Media" series of screenings, lectures and discussions on
film and video art with several events in February and March. All events,
presented in the Screening Room (Room 112) of the Center for the Arts,
North Campus, are free and open to the public.

documentarian Bill Jungles, professor of communication at Fredonia State
College, screens and discusses "North=South=North" (1991, 24 min.) and

produced as a result of the collaborative effort of cross-border arts
groups in Tijuana and San Diego.

thought it was safe to come out from under the bed-nine new films and
videos about being ALONE! Soloness exposed in all of its
permutations, for good or ill. Exquisite animation? Torturously
angst-ridden boredom? Schizophrenia? Murder? Got 'em all. Leave your
friends at home and come on down! Alone.
Friday, March 29, 7:30 p.m.: "Animation Master Emily Breer."
Co-sponsored by Hallwalls Contemporary Arts Center. Live action collage
films are this prize-winning animator's specialty ("The Genius" with Joe
