The School of Architecture and Planning at UB has announced several
events to take place this month, including a photo exhibit and a panel
discussion. Both are free of charge and open to the public. Among the
events planned: Building and Landscape: Byzantine Church Buildings in Greece, an exhibition of photographic works by Jonas Lehrman, Feb. 14-March 8 in James Dyett Gallery, Hayes Hall, on the UB South Campus. Gallery hours: Mondays-Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Politics of Regional Change: Issues of Governance in Erie County, Wednesday, Feb. 28 at 5:30 p.m., 301 Crosby Hall, UB South Campus. The panel discussion will feature the five members of the UB Governance Project, a multidisciplinary effort to study issues of governance in Western New York. All members are on the planning faculty of the School of Architecture and Planning. Kathryn A. Foster, David C. Perry, Alfred D. Price, John B. Sheffer II and Henry Louis Taylor Jr., will address the results of their first study, "Governance in Erie County: A Foundation for Understanding and Action."
