Campus Parking issues winter bus, parking info

The Office of Campus Parking and Transportation Services has issued the following statements:

Winter Bus Service­Possible Delays
Winter will soon be upon us, and not unlike other winters, this one is sure to bring the Western New York area ample snowfall. Given the inevitable, we would like to ask that students allow themselves extra time to get to classes, as poor weather and road conditions on those extremely wintry days will undoubtedly create some Blue Bird transportation delays.

Overnight Parking­Winter Parking Rules
Campus Parking and Transportation Services would like to remind you that winter parking rules will be enforced Nov. 15 through April 15. There is no overnight parking (midnight-6:30 a.m.) except in designated spaces or lots. Please be parking considerate. Do not park in fire lanes or triple park (making three lanes out of two). Triple parking inconveniences everyone and your vehicle may be towed.

Overnight parking is restricted to the following lots:

South Campus (designated areas only)

· Abbott (student lot)
· Diefendorf*
· Main-Bailey
· Michael*
· Townsend
· Parker

North Campus (entire lot, except as noted)

· Governors E
· Baird B*
· Cooke A
· Furnas* (designated area only)
· Governors B
· Spaulding, Richmond, Fargo (Ellicott)
· Arena

*Faculty/staff lots­student permits not valid 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday-Friday.
