In order to improve vehicular and pedestrian safety on campus, new stop
signs will be installed Thursday, Jan. 30 at the intersection of White
and Hadley Roads on the North Campus, making it an all-way stop
intersection. Traffic volume and accident data are periodically reviewed
by the Department of Public Safety and an analysis of data revealed the
need for a three-way stop at this intersection. Public Safety will issue warnings for a one-week period to drivers who do not observe the new stop signs. Effective Thursday, Feb. 6, 1997, New York State vehicle and traffic summonses will be issued for violations.
