Evil art
"Art From Hell-the Evil Works of Illustration Faculty, Students and Alumni" opens Jan. 23 with a reception from 5-7 p.m. in the Art Department Gallery located on the lower level of the Center for the Arts on the North Campus. The show continues through Feb. 11.

Chinese architecture
"Chinese Mountainscape Architecture," an exhibit of photographs by John Valentino with text by Beverly Foit-Albert, continues through Feb. 21 in the School of Architecture and Planning's James Dyett Gallery, 334 Hayes Hall, South Campus. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

After you...no, after you, please....
The Department of Computer Science and CIT have agreed to share the Baldy 19 Macintosh lab as a public site when it is not being used for Computer Science classes. This apparently is "an unprecedented and unique form of cooperation between CIT and an academic department." Baldy 19 will be a public site Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until noon. beginning Jan. 27. For information, call 645-3180.

Craft workshops
The Creative Craft Center will offer early spring craft workshops beginning the week of Jan. 27. Workshops will be held in textile design, knitting and crocheting, quilting, Brazilian embroidery, basic photography, color photography, advanced color photography, camera use and operation, creative photography, basic pottery, jewelry construction, beginning stained glass, advanced stained glass, weaving, the graphical computer, African inspiration in contemporary ceramics, pottery for children and multi-media for children. All workshops are held 7-10 p.m. one night per week for six weeks; children's workshops are on Saturday mornings. Fees are $30 for students, $50 for all others.
