Chinese architecture
"Chinese Mountainscape Architecture," an exhibit of photographs by John Valentino with text by Beverly Foit-Albert, continues through Feb. 21 in the School of Architecture and Planning's James Dyett Gallery, 334 Hayes Hall, South Campus. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Work by grad students
"The Graduate Student Show: Second-Year Students" in the UB Art Gallery, Center for the Arts, North Campus. Through Feb. 20. Gallery hours are 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday.

Explorations into perception

Work by Lucy Gunning. Camera follows a woman as she performs an act of circumvention, her feet never touching the floor as she gingerly traverses shelves, mantels, radiators and molding.
