Alumni Association Presents Awards
The UB Alumni Association honored nine individuals for contributions to UB, career accomplishments and community service at its annual awards dinner held May 2 in the Center for Tomorrow. The event was dedicated to Philip Wels for his lifetime service to UB. The honorees were: Front row, from left: Tanri Abeng, Lanny S. Liebeskind, Mrs. S. Mouchly Small, who accepted the award honoring her late husband; and Muriel A. Moore. Back row, from left: Craig Cirbus, Louis R. Reif, Philip Wels, President William R. Greiner, H.
