A Salute to International Students, Scholars

The President's Reception for Graduating International Students and Departing Scholars, which celebrated the achievements of UB's international students and exchange scholars, was held on May 6 in the Center for the Arts Atrium.

Speakers at the reception included UB President William R. Greiner; Joseph Williams, director of international alumni; William Evitts, executive director of alumni relations, and Mary Idzior of the Office of the International Student and Scholar Services. Shao-Chin Chang, who will graduate from UB with a Ph.D. in finance, spoke on behalf of international students.

Music at the reception was provided by a student ensemble from the UB Department of Music.
