Research center to focus on urban problems School of Social Work unit to initiate, test interventions for todayÕs socio-economic ills
The School of Social Work has announced plans to open a research center devoted to seeking solutions to problems faced by today's urban society.
Welcome mat is out for senior auditors
You may have been in class with one of them: that 78-year-old veteran who actually flew the missions described in an assigned reading from a Joseph Heller novel; the Oklahoma native who enriched her graduate history seminars with vivid recollections of Dust-Bowl life, abandoned children and mountain witchcraft; the retired police lieutenant in the gray eiderdown jacket who seems to know more about the Punic Wars than the instructor. He says he was there.
