University exceeds enrollment targets First-time freshmen 296 over target; graduate enrollment exceeds goal by 152
For the first time in four years, UB has exceeded its enrollment targets for full-time students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and has increased its number of graduate students by more than 15 percent since last fall, according to UB's official enrollment-status report.
Drug tracking marks scientific "first"
Scientists at UB and Tulane University have, for the first time, optically tracked in real-time the pathway of one of the most widely used cancer drugs linked to a peptide hormone carrier as it is being taken up by a human breast-cancer cell.
