UB Art Gallery to observe holiday hours

The UB Art Gallery in the Center for the Arts will institute holiday hours during the winter intercession, beginning on Tuesday. The gallery will be open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and will be closed on Dec. 25-26, Jan. 1-3 and Jan. 10.

The gallery will resume its regular hours on Jan. 13. Regular hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

The UB Anderson Gallery will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day, but otherwise will observe regular hours, which are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 1-5 p.m. on Sunday.

Olmstead named AVP

Audrey Olmstead, senior director of development, University Advancement, at Wayne State University in Detroit, has been named associate vice president for constituent development, effective Jan. 5.

In her new position, Olmstead will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive school and unit-based fundraising program that successfully meets university and school/unit targets and contributes to the overall growth of private philanthropy at the university.

While at Wayne State, she also had served as campaign director/director of development for the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, and director of development for the University Library System.

In addition, she has held development positions at the Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration, the National Emergency Medicine Association and Oakland University in Michigan.

Olmstead earned a bachelor's degree from Oakland University.
