Web cast to introduce Tripathi

Satish K. Tripathi, who will be UB's new provost effective July 1, will be introduced to the university community in a Web broadcast to be held from 11:15 a.m. to noon on May 6.
Dean of the Bourns College of Engineering at the University of California, Riverside, Tripathi is an internationally accomplished computer scientist who previously was a professor and former chair in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Maryland. Under Tripathi's leadership, the Bourns College of Engineering has become one of the fastest-growing schools of engineering in the U.S.
