The searches to fill three key leadership positions at UB are under way, with search committees in place and a consultant hired to assist in the process.

The positions being filled are vice president for development and alumni relations, and deans of the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

Marsha S. Henderson, vice president for external affairs, will serve as chair of the Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations Search Committee. Maurizio Trevisan, dean of the School of Public Health and Health Professions, will chair the search committee for the new medical school dean, and Alexander Cartwright, professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, will oversee the search for the engineering school dean.
