Rejection sensitivity. Studies by a UB psychologist have found that some people expect that they will be rejected by others because of their physical appearance, and that this sensitivity has serious implications for their mental and physical health.
Attracting top students. The university is taking steps to assure that more of the most highly qualified high school students who apply to UB arrive on campus next fall, the UB Council was told yesterday morning.
