I am currently working on a project that determines commodity prices of computing resources, in addition to allocating resources in a market where there is stochastic demand. I also am working on a solo-authored project where I created a decision support system which determines when a movie studio owner/distributor should release a movie online, given the established structure of movie distribution and given the existence of piracy.

I enjoy showing students that history is more than a slew of dates, names and events. It's always funny to hear students laugh when I blank out on a date. Although it's more intellectually taxing to learn history as primarily an interpretive enterprise, it's also far more interesting!
