Lora Cavuoto has received the Human Factors and Ergonomics WOMAN Mentor of the Year award and the National Safety Council’s Rising Stars of Safety Award. 

Work Comp Wire reported that Lora Cavuoto was named to the 2024 group of Rising Stars of Safety, an award given by The National Safety Council.

School of Engineering and Applied Sciences faculty members Lora Cavuoto and Wenyao Xu are among this year’s winners of the President Emeritus and Mrs. Meyerson Award for Distinguished Undergraduate Teaching and Mentoring, the highest university award for undergraduate mentoring.
