UB is proud to offer gender-inclusive communities for undergraduate, graduate and professional students.
Our gender-inclusive housing options are for UB students who wish to live in a community without an assigned gender. In these communities:
1. Alliance Living Learning Program – A community-focused program with learning goals and extra staff support. Ideal for students wanting to embrace diversity in a safe and affirming environment that brings together LGBTQ+ students and straight allies to freely explore issues of gender identity, expression, and sexual orientation.
2. Gender-inclusive apartments in Hadley Village
Preferences for the Alliance Community or the Gender Inclusive areas may be submitted as part of your housing application. Applications will be reviewed and offers will be sent shortly after the respective deadlines. Space is limited.
