UB Business Day is partnering with Blue Table to provide resources for UB students undergoing unanticipated hardship. Last year, UB Business Day attendees donated more than 400 items! This year Blue Table is in need of hygiene products and is asking for the following items:
Full-size items are appreciated but travel-size items are also welcome.
UB Business Day is once again collaborating with the Niagara County SPCA. Last year, attendees were able to meet and spend time with Precious, a dog up for adoption from the Niagara County SPCA's shelter.
The Niagara County SPCA will have a table at the UB Business Day 2024 vendor fair with information about their organization, adoption and answers to any questions about what they do!
The SPCA's Paws for Love program brings a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and even unique pets like cockatoos and guinea pigs, to spread comfort and joy across Erie County. These animal ambassadors visit over 100 locations, including nursing homes, hospitals, airports and educational institutions, offering stress relief and companionship to those in need.
The program has experienced significant growth since its inception, expanding from just six volunteers in 2006 to more than 200 behavior-certified therapy animal teams today.
