Specialties

Magneto-spectroscopy in the visible and near-infrared of semiconductor nanostructures and devices.

Education

  • BS, Physics, University of Athens, Greece – 1976
  • MS, Physics, Purdue University, US – 1979
  • PhD, Physics, Purdue University, US – 1983
  • Postdoctoral Research at Postdoctoral Fellow, 1983-1985, Department of Physics, Northeastern University, Boston MA

Research Area

Research Interests

I am interested in the study of magneto-optical properties of semiconductor based nanostructures such as magnetic quantum dots. More recently my group has been studying two dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides.
