About Us

The Artificial Intelligence Innovation Lab (A2IL)  is a research laboratory at the University of Buffalo which is focused on advancing the field of artificial intelligence and its applications. While our core competencies are related to computer vision, natural language processing, network architectures, fundamental machine learning and human computer partnerships, our goal is to bring together multidisciplinary research teams to address AI related problems in a variety of domains. We work closely with the medical school, a variety of engineering departments, legal and education professionals to explore applications which can benefit from the exciting advancements made in AI over the past decade. We welcome collaboration across the University, with small and large businesses, and with government organizations.
