This exhibition features Barbara Insalaco’s paintings and drawings of Buffalo industrial scenes executed in the late 80s and early 90s. Insalaco was a student and long-time friend of Robert De Niro, Sr.
She studied art at SUNY Binghamton and SUNY Buffalo. Her work is represented in the collections of the Albright-Knox Art Gallery, Burchfield Penney Art Center, and Columbia-Greene Community College among others. The artist has worked extensively in pastel, dealing with color, light, and form.
