This fund supports an award for an outstanding graduating MSW student who plans to pursue a career in health and mental health disability.
Established in 2000 as a tribute to Kristopher Braselton, MSW '98, this fund provides an annual award to a graduating Master of Social Work student who has demonstrated academic persistence and determination, as well as the ability to overcome a personal difficulty or challenge. The recipient, who receives the award at commencement, must also intend to pursue a career in the health and/or mental health and disabilities field.
The fund was established by the Braselton family to honor the memory of their son Kristopher L. Braselton.
