Elizabeth Adelman is director of the Charles B. Sears Law Library and vice dean for legal information services in the School of Law. A renowned expert in the areas of legal research education and New York state law and a nationally recognized leader in legal librarianship, Adelman served as the 2022/2023 president of the American Association of Law Libraries. Actively advancing the landscape of legal resources available to scholars, students, and practitioners, she helped develop the New York Codes, Rules and Regulations Digital Archive, which provides free access to the state’s historical regulatory documents, and supported the development of Digital Commons @ University at Buffalo School of Law, an open-access repository for faculty and student research.
