BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Registrations are being accepted for the Spring term of the Graduate Tax Certificate Program offered by the Institute for Tax Studies in the University at Buffalo School of Management.

Spring sessions begin the week of April 27th and conclude the week of June 22nd. Topics for this term are "Tax Practice and Procedure," "State Taxation of Corporations" and "Corporate Tax II."

All courses are taught by qualified tax practitioners drawn from the legal and accounting professions. Up to 24 continuing professional education (CPE) credits are awarded for each course, with the Graduate Tax Certificate awarded after completion of six core and three elective courses.

The Institute for Tax Studies is registered with the New York State Board of Public Accountancy as an official sponsor of continuing education courses for certified public accountants.

The Graduate Tax Certificate Program is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a qualified sponsor of continuing education programs for individuals enrolled to practice before the IRS.
