Team Performance Certificate Program Being Offered

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Center for Management Development in the University at Buffalo School of Management is offering a "Team Performance" certificate program from April 20 through June 29.

This 10-week, 30-hour program will be conducted from 6-9 p.m. on Mondays in the Jacobs Management Center on the UB North (Amherst) Campus.

The program will focus on developing the fundamental skills necessary for effective team-based work environments. Topics will include "Leading the Transition to Teamwork," " Identifying Diversity in Team Members," "Interpersonal Skill Building" and "Facilitating Team Problem Solving and Decision Making."

The UB Center for Team Performance and Leadership, directed by Jerry Newman, Ph.D., professor of organizations and human resources, was established to assist professionals, academia, and organizations with effective collaboration and proper team-skills development..
