Computing services at UB are in the process of being restored following the Friday afternoon power outage that affected the North Campus. According to Rick Lesniak, director of academic services for Computing and Information Technology, as of approximately 4 p.m. Friday, networking, Web access and dialup access have been restored. There continue to be some problems with central communication servers and possibly with mail list servers, but those services are expected to be up and running by 6 p.m. While mail delivery to some addresses is delayed, measures have been taken to ensure that no mail is lost.
