Two Arrested in Connection with Campus Robberies

University Police, in cooperation with Town of Amherst Police, Tuesday evening arrested two individuals off campus following an incident in the Jarvis Lot on the North Campus where two men stopped a male student and displayed a weapon before taking his wallet containing cash and credit cards. The victim was not harmed.

The two men have been charged with felony grand larceny, first-degree robbery and criminal possession of a weapon.

It is believed that the men are responsible for the earlier incidents reported on Tuesday.

University Police and Town of Amherst Police are continuing their investigation of the incidents.
