Junior Chris Llop is pursing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a minor in Mandarin Chinese and mathematics. Llop is president of Engineers for a Sustainable World and is chair the organization's 2009 national convention, which will be held at UB. He co-leads two projects in the group, building parks on Buffalo's East Side neighborhood and ensuring that student feedback contributes to increased sustainability in the new engineering building. Llop is an active member of Tau Beta Pi, Etta Kappa Nu, The Environmental Network, UB Climate Action Network, The Environmental Task Force, IEEE, UB Believers and UB Advocates. He is an avid participant in UB 2020 feedback forums and serves on the energy subcommittee of the Environmental Stewardship Committee, which is tasked with drafting UB's plan for climate neutrality.
