Effective Teaching Workshop Series

This series prepares participants to be reflective educators who use evidence-based teaching strategies. Participants will develop foundational knowledge of adult-learning principles and curriculum design, along with tools for promoting critical thinking. Specific approaches for engaging all learners while creating and supporting inclusiveness in small and large group settings will be explored. The interactive workshops will give participants opportunities to apply learning to their own teaching, with attention to cultural responsiveness and intersectionality in evolving environments.
