The UB Educational Design Collaborative (EDC) formed in 2013 as a grassroots effort to support and further online learning at the University. Initial membership consisted of representatives from the schools of education, nursing, public health, social work, and central UB support departments, such as the Office of Curriculum, Assessment & Teaching Transformation (CATT) and the UB Libraries. The group has since expanded and is open to anyone interested in teaching and learning at UB.
In addition to the accomplishments listed below, the group has also served in an advisory role for campus-wide initiatives such as the Middle States accreditation.
