This fund supports scholarships for UB Bulls football players.
Established by Robert E. Rich, Sr., the Football Scholarship Endowment Fund supports scholarships for athletes participating in the intercollegiate football program of the University at Buffalo.
Rich was well-known for advancing athletics programs throughout Western New York, beginning with his time at UB, when he starred on the football team, and founded the university’s wresting program.
In addition to serving as past president of the University of Buffalo Alumni Association, Rich was inducted into UB’s Athletic Hall of Fame, and recieved an honorary doctorate of laws degree from the university.
The UB Bulls compete in Division I intercollegiate sports — the highest level of competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) — in the prestigious Mid-American Conference. Our facilities include UB Stadium, Alumni Arena (including the Natatorium), the world-class University Tennis Center, and Nan Harvey Field.
