Now that all courses are being delivered using Brightspace, we enter the final phase of UB’s Learning Management System Transition, which involves shutting down the Blackboard service.

K16 Solutions will migrate the university's entire library of online course content to D2L's Brightspace, then archive its historical content and student data on its proprietary platform.
Dear Colleagues, I am pleased to share that UB will be adopting a new learning management system (LMS), Brightspace by D2L, for the campus community. Brightspace will replace the existing LMS, UB Learns, powered by Blackboard.
