Issues in Earthquake Education

Abstract: This volume offers 17 short presentations on various aspects of earthquake education in the elementary schools. Major topics considered include: 1) meeting the needs of culturally diverse school populations; 2) curricular issues; 3) school disaster preparedness; and 4) preparedness in environments outside the traditional classroom.
