About Us

The Institute for Myelin and Glia Exploration includes both basic and clinical science arms where neuroscientists and clinicians are working together to study myelin and its diseases. We are supported by the University at Buffalo’s Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (JSMBS), Rosenau Family Research FoundationNew York State’s Empire State Development and extramural funds.  Our laboratories are located in Downtown Buffalo as part of the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus (BNMC).
