Tom Dinki

Tom Dinki joined University Communications in 2023 from the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Prior to that, he was a journalist for over six years in both print and radio. He wrote about car accidents, fires, school board meetings and just about everything else happening in New York’s Southern Tier for the Olean Times Herald. He then switched to broadcast journalism, reporting on air about topics like nursing home reform and domestic extremism for Buffalo’s NPR station, WBFO.

Tom enjoys spending time with his wife and son and trying to complete his seemingly never-ending Letterboxd watchlists for various genres, actors and directors.

Tom holds a bachelor’s degree in English and journalism certificate from UB.
