"Diversity – of thought, of experience, of culture, of heritage – contributes to UB’s dynamic and intellectually stimulating environment. We celebrate and take pride in that fact every time we open ourselves to different perspectives and experiences, every time we consider a vexing problem from a fresh angle and every time we engage respectfully with those around us, even when we don’t see eye-to-eye."
- Satish K. Tripathi, UB president
