In this role, you will direct the Center of Excellence in Materials Informatics, which works to foster collaborations between the university and industry to solve real-world problems and bring new products and services to market. You will also work with UB researchers, companies from across New York State, community partners, and other academic institutions to establish new translational research programs.

The Technology Transfer team at UB Business and Entrepreneur Partnerships (BEP) is seeking a Technology Assessment Specialist to identify and aid in the development of commercialization opportunities for the technology from university research, aiming to bring them to market and boost economic growth in Western New York. The role involves working with faculty to identify commercially viable innovations, conducting intellectual property and market assessments, engaging in customer discovery, assisting in patent prosecution, and preparing marketing materials and proof-of-concept funding proposals.
The Technology Transfer team at UB Business and Entrepreneur Partnerships (BEP) is seeking a Compliance Specialist to contribute to our team’s efforts to bring innovative new technologies to market and foster economic growth in the Western New York Community. In this role, you will be part of the Technology Transfer team, working within the nexus of science, law and business managing the intake and reporting aspects of technology disclosures, ensuring compliance with government and sponsor reporting, and overseeing license compliance and accounts receivable processes.
